Embrace the rain with Burberry's wellies at Net-a-Porter

burberry%20wellies.bmp When I heard the news that Burberry were giving up on their signature check pattern at our sister blog, Catwalk Queen I did think it was a real shame. However, I can't help wishing that it had happened before I caught sight of these Burberry London wellies on the Net-a-Porter website. Maybe it's my farmer's daughter routes shining through but I do reckon that wellies should either be Kate Moss at Glasto style (i.e. Hunter), or at a stretch; fun, brightly patterned and girly. The Burberry wellington boots for £90.00 just have the feel of someone trying too hard in my opinion. What do you think?
