French Connection 'Wagtale' casual shoe at Viva La Diva

If you like your flat pumps with a slightly sporty twist, you might be interested in these French Connection lace up 'Wagtale' shoes at Viva La Diva. They're available in metallic gold and silver, apparently look great with jeans and will set you back £55.00. Personally I'm not too keen as I fear that they have that slight granny-esque quality about them, although I'm not sure why as no grandmother I know would wear anything remotely like this. Perhaps this is the type of shoe that can only be evaluated when actually attached to someone's ankle. What do you think?

What's up with all the Granny-Chic out right now?! these are awful! I wouldn't even bowl in them.

They sort of remind me of my mum's 'holiday' trainers. She's only a step-granny, but I can see what you mean. I think they'd have looked a lot more delicate if they were a little lower in the front. I do like the colour choice, though, and they look quite comfy.
