I don't know what it is about gold leather like this that makes it look so satisfyingly expensive, but whatever it is, I think it's helping make these Martinez Valero sandals look like they're worth more than the $134 they actually cost. With such a chunky leather t-bar, it must have been tempting to make the heel similarly chunky, but luckily they've managed to restrain themselves and keep it nice and delicate. The end result is pretty much perfect, and they also come in that silver mirror finish that's so popular at the moment.
