'Shoes: A History from Sandals to Sneakers' at Amazon
As with men, when you're ready to start looking for a new pair of shoes, it's sometimes sensible to wait a while and not jump straight into something serious with the first ones you see. What better way to take a break between pairs, than with a lovely hardcover (I'm not sure why that makes a difference to me) book for your coffee table?! At £23.10 I know it's not cheap and you could buy about 3 pairs of Primark shoes instead, but it is filled with iconic and classic footwear and is a must if you too plan to one day compete on Mastermind (and win) with the specialist subject being, of course: shoes.
