There are times when writing about shoes is the best thing in the world; and then there are times like these. Proof, perhaps, that some designers think we have more money than sense, are some of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. A mix of black patent leather and brown suede, they're part school shoe, part nightmare. Reduced they may be, a bargain they are not. They're yet another ugly offering from Marni.
