Betsey Johnson's 'Jene' natural wicker heels miss the mark!

betsey%20johnson.bmp Betsey Johnson I am disappointed in you! Although I usually like your quirky style, these 'Jene' natural wicker heels are highly unsettling! Wicker basket: good, wicker shoe: BAD! Insult is added to injury with the white trim beading and bow on the front! In fact, the only thing I do like about this shoe is the flowery insole which you won't even see if someone dares to wear them! I really can't imagine what one would wear these with, and I can't se that they would be massively comfortable. What do you think, ladies? If you are tempted, they're reduced from US$180 to US$117 at Jildor Shoes.

I LOVE Betsey Johnson and her shoes, but these remind me of my grandmothers old sweaters with the cream-colored flowers sewn on. ugh.

I worship this website however I feel like it's UK friendly. Meaning most of the shoes that are top finds are located in the UK and these websites are unable to ship to US. Dune is shipping to the US in two months. Perhaps ask the UK sites when they will be available for US consumers. Thanks.

The simple reason for that, Marla, is that we're a UK blog! We have to keep a happy medium, and we try to cater for US fans too, but at the end of the day, we're based in the UK so it's UK shoes we pick up most often.

If it's any consolation, I get emails on a daily basis from people complaining about all the stuff available in the US that they can't get in the UK.
