These 'Miranda' tortoiseshell peep-toe wedges are cheap cheap cheap, but I'm not sure that that's necessarily a good thing in this case. They're just US$19.99 from Go Jane, but I really think that it wouldn't be hard to guess what sort of price they were. The tortoiseshell patent finish material doesn't have any of the glossy appeal that more expensive pairs promote, and rather looks shiny and cheap. However I don't want to be a snob about bargain shoes as I own many, many pairs myself, and whilst these probably aren't going to be a long-term investment, if tortoiseshell is a style you're trying out for the first time, it could be the perfect way to tentatively test out the trend. The fact that they're under US$20 means that if you only end up wearing them once or twice, it really wouldn't be the end of the world.
