What do you think of these unusual T-bar retro heels available in tan and teal, from Urban Outfitters US?

urban%20outfitters%20t%20bar.bmpOk, I know that in my last post about Urban Outfitters US (see link below) I was rather disparaging, but actually they've got some great stuff for us shoe lovers at the moment. Although these aren't my favourite shoes currently available on the website - in fact, I'm not even sure what I think of them - I do applaud the fact that these Jeffrey Campbell T-bar heels are an unusual take on the T-bar trend. Costing US$88, they're available in teal or tan, featuring a 3 inch heel. I love the cut out detailing of the leather and the buckle - perfect to fasten them onto your feet for a night of retro '40s style dancing!

Ummm...don't these look a lot like the TopShop sandals in the most recently "ugly shoe" post? I think wearing them was described as going to "shoe hell"? At least the color of these is much better.

Yes Megan, I was going to say exactly the same thing. They look very very similar to the last Ugly Shoe.

Good spot, ladies! Yup, this pair are very like the Topshop ones, although I do prefer these due to the fact I'm a bit teal-obsessed at the moment! Having said that, I'm still suspicious as they seem rather busy, don't they?! Part T-bar, part Mary Jane, part Topshop ugly shoe! Wow!

These are actually really cute on the foot and happen to be a take-off of a Chie Mahara shoe

I actually really like these ones!! But i'm with Lucy ... i'm loving teal atm and probably wouldn't like them in any other color.
