Topshop's chunky platform sandals in cobalt blue - are you a fan?
If you like your footwear chunky, Topshop is thinking about you at the moment. The designers there are currently releasing shoes that are chunky, chunky, chunky including these wooden platform sandals. Personally I'm not a fan - they massively remind me of what I and my friends used to refer to as 'Jesus sandals' meaning thick, chunky sandals - often with bright straps - which were the style favoured by numerous dads at the time. I just can't get the image out of my mind, despite the fact that they have a chunky heel and platform here - I keep envisaging my pasty legs and feet attached to them and it isn't a pleasant image! If you are a fan they'll cost you £40 - what do you think of them?
