Grandma, grandma, wherefore art thou, grandma? For a store that has been trying to improve it's image from grandma chic to high street fabulous, I'm a little surprised that Evans are still flaunting the ugliness that is their elasticated leather range for sore feet. In fact, I've never understood why 'comfortable' always seems to equal 'ugly as sin' in the eyes of retailers. Surely a more delicate or embellished design would soothe the sole just as well? If you don't object to this eye-sore as much as I do, 'Claudia Comfort' is available for £25 from Evans.
