What do you think of these Bettina in Heather unusual heels at Scorah Pattullo

bettina%20in%20heather.bmp I'm not entirely sure what to make of these 'Bettina in Heather' heels! Is it just me, or do they they have the effect of a piece of pink wallpaper which was then stripped away to reveal the Victorian-esque style underneath? I'm not sure whether I see this as a good thing like a game of pass the parcel with a present inside, or whether it just clashes horribly and looks rather odd! What are your thoughts, ladies? Anyway, for more about the shoe. It has a 10cm stiletto heel, with navy kidskin cross-over detail across the toe, a panel of printed cotton fabric and silver kidskin lining. It's now reduced to £161 from £230.01, are you tempted?

I simultaneously like them and think they're a bit too awkward.. is the print in black or navy?

They look like lingerie... I mean they literally resemble lingerie. I don't like underwear as outerwear, though it can be very beautiful. Underwear as footwear is a bit too much; I think that's what makes them look awkward.

Also, the black and white print somehow doesn't harmonize with the pale pink.
