Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay83.jpgDespite a slight mix-up last week - the Pucci shoes were from the previous week, girls! - the Keds-styled "shrainers" (not quite trainers, not quite normal shoes...thanks, Deb!) were voted 'Yay' by a nose. If cute, tennis-inspired footwear's your thing, they're from Topshop, but are, unfortunately, no longer available online.

This week's offering is a little different. With a mix of moccasin, wooden clog and sensible boat-shoe; are they monstrous mish-mash or marvellously made? Yay or nay and why?

Take a clog, my boyfriend's shoes, put an ugly heel on it, some metal and there you go. A shoe nightmare served!

Nay! Why? Because they're ugly! Clogs are a pet peeve of mine. Probably because they make up at least 50% of my Mom's closet.

Nay Nay Nay- I think my aversion to Crocs makes me hate clogs so much. Gardening shoes should stay in the garden, preferably burried in the dirt!

Nay nay - not only are they ugly they are also a hazard - I had many a skinned ankle in my (thankfully a long time ago) clog wearing days!

Urgh, a total of 100% nay. These are absolutely awful, although I can't quite put my finger on it.. maybe the sum-up word is...clogs.

Nay for the colour, the heel shape and height and the frontage of old lady's shoe. I like the little studs around the leather - I feel sorry for them being stick to such a minging shoe!
