Brian Atwood's gorgeous black leather patent 'Slick' d'orsay pump

D'orsays are one shoe I have still yet to master... the shape always enchants me, and I could never resist a beautiful peep toe and a shapely heel, but my feet really hate the segmented support. I have teeny, slim feet so there should be no reason why I would need sides on a shoe, but d'orsays always remind me why I do - not only will I cut my heel all over that high back, but I feel ten times less supported in a shoe with no sides! Regardless, I cannot help but admire this beautiful Brian Atwood 'Slick' d'orsay pump! (US$560) That sliver of light glinting off the knotted black patent at the front of the shoe is absolutely exquisite.
