Christian Louboutin's 'Emily' shoe boots - pre-order them now from Net-a-Porter

It's certainly a rollercoaster ride with Mr. Louboutin at the moment. First of all, we had the metallic lace up flats from earlier this week which horrified a number of us. Then came the far more popular criss cross vamp heeled pumps which lots of you seemed to prefer - in fact one reader, Rosie, commented that if they were human, she'd want to go out with them (me too Rosie, me too). Well the cobbler-wonder has now released these Emily shoe boots just to confuse us even more. Currently available for pre-order at Net-a-Porter for £520, they're available in plain black or black and white - which, despite looking suspiciously similar to a pair I once saw Michael Jackson wearing in a music video, I've still developed growing feelings of love for. What do you think: are they fabulous, or has designer fever struck me down once again?

You must be joking. My dear Christian cant design such things :((((((((
No way I would want to wear this horrible thing, and as for paying that money for them, only if I become mentally insane and insanely rich.

I'm with you, Ms Shoewawa!! My instant reaction is that I love them, and then I think - why?? I'ts the platform chunkyness mixed with the delicate heel. Fabulosa!

Delicate heel?!! Sometimes women amaze me! Perhaps it's the difference between the way that men and women see things, but to me a stiletto heel is a formidable piercing weapon that gives the lady a dangerous and challenging edge that is sexually appealing. A proper stiletto (0.25 inch thick or less at the tip) delivers a pressure of around one ton per square inch for an 8 stone (112 lbs) woman. Like many men, I tend to see the destructive qualities of certain types of women's shoes; the more destructive (to third parties) the more appealing both the shoe (or boot) and the wearer become. In the 80's in Wall Street and London's "City", the fashionably dressed 'get ahead at any cost' successful career women were known as "Spike Heeled Power B**ches". This was a term of RESPECT; most men respect power above all else and women who understand the psycho-sexual significance of certain clothing can rule men just as a Dominatrix does (e.g.:- Condi Rice and her stiletto 'kinky boots').

These gorgeous Louboutins with their very high thin stiletto heel coupled with their substantial platform sole and pointed toe, look as if they could deliver quite a lot of punishment to an errant male! With their blood red soles they are quite the Dominatrix shoe and not for the helpless and nauseatingly childlike shrinking violets in those damned ballerinas.

im sorry - where exactly is the beauty in this shoe? just because a shoe has red soles doesn't automatically made it great. theyre chunky and unbalanced and the toe looks like a dog's nose. all in all a very disappointing shoe from mr louboutin.
