Seemingly the perfect Dorothy-moment shoes for the flat-lover, these red metallic ruched back metallic flats are just US$38 from Urban Outfitters US. They'd certainly brighten up any outfit and add a bit of casual glamour, and I think would look fabulous with a pair of skinny jeans or thick dark tights and a short skirt during the winter months. If it's the colour that's giving you cause for concern, they're also available in gold and silver. From past experience, the ruched back effect and round toe should mean that they're pretty comfortable - rather like the joys of maternity clothing, they should just mould to your shape! Perfect!
