Lanvin's patent black and hot pink platforms definitely add a splash of colour!

Wow... I think these heels are definitely going to be going into the Love/Hate category, as I imagine that some of you will think they're to die for, and the rest of you will cringe with horror. Available from Luisa Via Roma, the Mary Janes-esque patent Decolette heels from Lanvin are made from patent black leather with a chunky strap and hot pink bright platform heel. It's the 12 cm height that totally discounts them for me - 120mm is just too likely to mean a broken ankle! Oh, and the price of €620 could be a slight issue, too! Having said that, I think that adding a shot of colour through the platform heel is a fabulous idea. You?
