Marc by Marc Jacobs ruffle top ankle boots - Autumn shoes for experimental fashionistas
We may not have really had a summer yet, but autumn items are already trickling into stores as we head into August...and that means boots, boots and more boots! One of the more interesting styles comes courtesy of good old Marc, who's added an elasticated ruffle to the top of his stacked heel boots (£365). Not the easiest style to wear by a long shot, but worth giving a go if you're experimental (and have good legs). I've always been cautious of teaming ankle boots with skirts but it seems a shame to wear these under trousers. I see them with thick woolen tights and a winter sweater dress.
