Ballet pumps are, of course, everywhere you look these days. They're fantastic, and flats are all very well, but they don't set my heart racing like a pair of ridiculously impractical shoes. Imagine my glee then when I set eyes on these lovelies from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

They look like something which could easily grace the feet of a '40s starlet or even a burlesque dancer, which always spells sex appeal!
