Marc Jacobs makes the ballet shoe sexy

Ballet pumps are, of course, everywhere you look these days. They're fantastic, and flats are all very well, but they don't set my heart racing like a pair of ridiculously impractical shoes. Imagine my glee then when I set eyes on these lovelies from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

These Ballet Satin heels combine all the prettiness of a ballet pump with a definite designer glam factor, and I am in love. They look like something which could easily grace the feet of a '40s starlet or even a burlesque dancer, which always spells sex appeal! I'd have preferred a slimmer heel, but that might push them over into the trash factor just this once. This pair are available online for £280 from Browns.
