Martin Margiela's leather peep-toe wedges, in the sale at Barneys!
I know that lots of you were never really sure about the perspex trend - in fact, some of you literally couldn't stand it - but how do you feel about lucite? I'm not sure whether the effect is as strong in person, but when I first saw these leather peep-toe wedges by Martin Margiela on the Barneys website, it took me a few seconds to work out what was going on, as it looked like the heel was completely missing. Reduced from US$355 to US$325 in the sale they're pretty unusual and feature a t-bar ankle strap and peep toe. Would you go for a pair of shoes with lucite heels?
