Mid height wood wedge shoes from Topshop

I’m not sure whether I like these mid height wood wedge shoes from Topshop, £45. I like the shape of the wedge which is, as you may have guessed from the name, made of wood, but I don’t like the leather upper – it looks a bit, well, boring. And I’m not sure about the colour, but it may just look strange in the photo – if anyone sees them in the shop then please let me know what you think!
