Nine West's 'Chardin' black and gold heels are perfect party-wear!

Last winter, my shoe colour du jour was purple. I constantly wore a pair of purple peep-toe heels I have with black opaque tights and have many happy memories involving them. Let it never be said that I'm stuck a rut though, and this year I'm moving on: black and gold is the colour combination I'm currently endorsing! Nine West's 'Chardin' heels have the kind of punched detail that would usually terrify me and send me running to the hills, but in an attempt to move away from the more classic style of shoe I usually go for, I'm attempting to embrace them. If you want to embrace them literally, they'll set you back US$99 for a choice of black and gold or slightly more bizarre neutral and gold!
