Rupert Sanderson's 'Venetia' heels from his A/W '07 collection

venetia.bmp It has to take something fairly special to be able to charge £300-£400 for a pair of shoes, but I really think Rupert Sanderson has proved his worth with these 'Venetia' heels. Mary Jane-esque with bow detail, how to wear them would need some consideration to prevent an entire outfit from looking too prim and proper, but I think they definitely look worth the £340 they'd cost to own. Patent black leather with a grossgrain trim, the heel is 10cm high. So, ladies, what do you think of them, and what would you pair them with to create the perfect outfit?

like them but... perhaps it's due to the 40° that are heating my head here, but that velvet seems just too much

umm... i don't actually like them that much. usually im a fan of all things patent. and the general shape of the shoe is quite beautiful. but i dont think it actually is worthy of the 340 price tag. just not sure if it would actually look that flattering on...

a cheaper option for a sweet evening look, this fcuk dress for only £30!

and for daily wear, this oasis shirt, and a pair of black trousers, wide, or skinny, i think both would look good.
