Scorah Pattullo's Cara - purple perfection or awful aubergine?

Cara_Aubergine.jpg I don't know quite what to make of this pair of pumps from Scorah Pattullo. I love the colour, and think every girl should have a veritable rainbow of shoes in her wardrobe, but does the rest of the shoe live up?

I'm not very fond of the cuban-style heel, and the lace detail just doesn't do it for me. Yet I still keep wondering whether I'd be sold on these if I saw them worn by the right girl with the right outfit. The Cara Aubergine is £57 in the sale. What do you think?

Thse are just awful. Love the color, absolutley hate the rest. The tie is the worst. Ugh.

Ribbon tie would have looked better, but overall they are a pretty (not as in pretty, but quite) dire looking shoe. The colour is ...so...so...and the style is so..."I'm off for my tap/jazz dance class now"
I don't know if I am the only person on here, but I find /Scorah Pattullo's (sic)designs totally uninspiring and overpriced?
