Slip-on dolly shoes from Marks and Spencer

What on earth is going on here? Is it a pump? Is it a ballet shoe? Does anyone care? Usually sensible, sometimes stylish, Marks and Spencer are trying to do trendy and failing miserably with this slip-on dolly shoe, £5 in the sale - they wouldn’t look good on anyone over the age of 14.
