Terra Plana launches Sole of Africa range

Terra Plana has got to be my favourite footwear brand of all time, with its gorgeously bendy, totally chic and wonderfully wearable sustainable shoes that just keep getting better.

So I was delighted to get a sneak peek of some of the new Terra Plana styles for Autumn/Winter 07 last week, along side a charming new range called 'Sole of Africa', which the company's founders have launched as a side project called Soul of Africa, to help support AIDS orphans in South Africa. Unemployed local women are taught to hand-paint the shoes, so each pair is a unique edition, and £3 of every pair will be donated to charity. The range will be available in time for Christmas.
