Topshop are inspired by Lanvin with these 'Super High' gold and black platform heels

super%20high.bmp It was only yesterday that I was talking about Lanvin's black patent heels with the splash of hot pink in the platform. If you quite liked them but felt that the colour and price were a bit much, then you might like this high street alternative. Yes, once again the designers at Topshop have been reading Shoewawa and knocking up shoes overnight - that's the only explanation for these super high platform heels. Priced at £65, the pink is replaced by a gold sole and trim, gold colouring up the back of the heel and of course, the gold platform itself. Also 100% leather, the patent is gone, and a peep-toe is added. What do you think?

the Lanvins looked great. i would not wear these... the plantform looks rather chunky for the general shape instead of stylized; the front part of the shoe doesn't look that good to me also...

I bought these on Saturday in Oxford Circus, was in again on Sunday for something else and they had sold out of all the black ones. Only avaliable in the purple/mauve colour now. I think they are fab and am planning on wearing them with a very simple black dress for maximum effect.
