I always find Autumn/Winter a pretty tricky shoe season because I rarely fall in love with a pair of boots. I prefer delicate heels and wildly impractical shoes, but I'm quickly learning boots don't just have to be functional.
These round toe ankle boots from Topshop are just plain lovely. I adore the rich brown leather and, while I'm not a heeled boot fan, these are a perfect height. They'll keep the atrocious weather out and will look equally great with skinny jeans or a dress.
