What do you make of these pewter leather pumps from Marc by Marc Jacobs? I'm not convinced!

marc%20jac%20elast.bmp I can't decide how I feel about these Marc by Marc Jacobs pewter leather pumps. There are things that I love about them - the colour is adorable, and the ruffle detail is right up my street - yet there's something about them that I'm not so keen on. That something? Black elastic straps! One per shoe is forgiveable and can even work well, but one that's functional and one that has just been tied into a bow shape and stuck on the front? It reminds me of a Christmas present that has been beautifully wrapped, but an extra stray bow has attached itself! They are US$395 and you also get them in black. What do you think?

i dont agree. everyone keeps saying the bow needs to go, but i personally think the other strap needs to go. its too weird and cuts the foot in all the wrong places. check out these ones:

I agree, w/o the bow on the front I think they would be so much nicer! oh well......

i totally agree about the black strap! anyway the design looks very Irregular Choice-esque. and not in the style of the best looking ones, just average.
