Gwen Stefani’s designs are probably more wearable on a bag than a shoe, but I still find myself drawn to the Harajuku Lovers line of trainers. I know they’re supposed to be worn with shorter than short skirts and pigtails, but I’m a 30-year-old mother (with some dignity) so I think I’ll stick to jeans when I step out in my bubble pop electric pair, US$90. Now, if only I was tall and blonde, I too could be a pop Goddess!
