Just in case you haven't noticed, black and white Spectator pumps are going to be pretty big this winter. Christian Louboutin may be stealing the spotlight at the moment with his 'Emily' shoe boots, but he's far from the only one using this distinctive style. Chanel's classic white pumps with black toe cap are on the left of the picture above, and are one of the designs Chanel is famous for. Guess, meanwhile, have added a black heel and platform to their versions (centre), while Dune have given theirs a slingback plus a subtle criss-cross design on the toe. Which do you like best?

  • I agree with Emma and Daphne, the Guess ones are the cutest! Though the Chanel ones are more classic, they just seem kind of... old lady-ish. But maybe that's just me.

I think I would wear them with a short and swirly skirt in a bright colour like royal blue, and a similar-toned sweater (like powder blue) over a white oxford. Hmmm, I think I might have to go on a shopping trip to Guess now...

Though I may be seen as a blasfemer here I really don't like the Chanel ones, they seem boring...not clasic, boring. I like the Guess ones better.

The Guess ones are the nicest, the chanel ones just arent as cute with the squarer lines, and the black sole on the dune ones ruins an otherwise beautiful shoe. pity too, cos the dune ones would be the only ones i could afford :(

mhmmm looking again at these i have to accept that the Chanels, with the white heel and the slightly squared and narrow toe, are the classiest ones.

I'm a sucker for slingbacks, and that criss-cross is quite original... so I vote Dune.
