Cheap and cheerful polka dot canvas pumps from Matalan

SCAT018-3805.jpg

Pretty, canvas flats are something I don't think a girl can have too much of - particularly during the summer months when you need something cute but comfortable to wear with shorts and skirts, or for wandering around various holiday destinations. Luckily Matalan are making it easy on us to keep our canvas flats cupboard stocked up with these polka dot pumps which come in red, black, yellow and green. I've already bought a black pair to wear on my upcoming holiday, but the £8 price tag is tempting me to go back for more already! I love the pointed toe, which makes them different from most other canvas shoes, and the little bow on the front is a pretty finishing touch.

More cheap imported disposable fashion........think of the environmental impact!!

Oh they are so cute! I love the green ones, going to go and have a look.

As for them being cheap, imported and disposable - what isn't these days? I'm talking high street of course, from Kate Moss's range to Toasters people buy at £5 at Asda...supply and demand.

OMG!!!! these are soooo cute. Where can I buy these and have them shipped to the US?

Megan, it's not supply and demand......it's consumers insatiable demand for quick cheap gratification at any cost.

This is one of the reasons I no longer shop in places like Primark and only buy European made. We can't all simply bury our heads in the sand......
