Christian Louboutin's new 'Lady Gres' heels

lady%20gres.JPG Another day, another pair of gorgeous Christian Louboutin peep-toes (does the man never rest?!) - this time, it's the Lady Gres pumps. I've searched the net for any 'Lady Gres' references and although not much came up, I can see where the name came from even if it didn't have any direct inspiration. Beautifully and classy, these pewter metallic leather pumps have a whopping 11 cm heel with a concealed platform, ruched and knot detailing and of course that red sole. Priced at £445.00, they're a fantastic way to do sophisticated chic with a twist. Do you like them?

since the shoes are pleated, my guess is that the name of the shoe is a reference to the designer madame gres who was famous for pleated dresses.

LOUBOUTIN!!! The world of fantastic platforms just aren't the same without him....He was recently featured on "Fashion Fanatic" on TLC. His interview gave me reason number 1254646413164 to LOVE and continue to buy his shoes...no practical works of art!

Those shoes make me weep. If I ever come into an outstanding amount of money, a pair of Christian Louboutins is the first purchase I will make. (After paying off all my stupid debt, that is.)

Louboutin is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers. As a devout Zanottinista (simply because he IS the jewel King!) I appreciate Mr. Louboutin's simplicity to sexiness. I'm ALL about capping the look of elegance off with the perfect shoe & these definitely FIT the bill!
