Summer is almost over even for those of us who calculate seasons by school schedules. But that doens't mean I'll go on over without a fight! As much as I love fall fashion, I really love flip flops, as well. A friend of mine has been trying to wean me away from flip-flops all summer, claiming that flip flops cause arch pain, bad posture and aren't as convenient as they seem (after all, you cannot run in flip flops.) So here was my compromise - low heeled sandals. Somehow, I do feel a bit more supported when my foot is weighed down by a slope and forces my foot to contort. Even though I can't run in these Claudia Ciuti 'Evana' teeny heels either, I can't say no to a 70% off sale, can I? (US$73.90, a huge way down from the original US$248.)
