(Might have to invest in a clear bandaid as well, for the back of your achilles, since these are by Wetseal.) But no pain, no gain, right? They're actually not as bad as they look - the inside of the heel is slightly reinforced and padded, so these do not cut quite as badly. They are, however, quite stiff at first, so they will need a bit of a break-in time. Buy informedly!
