I'm about to get 'Old Skool' with Topshop's high top trainers

"Back in the day when I was young/ 'm not a kid anymore but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again." Why? So I could bust a move with the b-boys on the corner of my Brooklyn stoop in these kicking high top trainers. Ok, ok I have no affiliation with early '80s New York, nor was I old enough to truly appreciate the era back then, but I'd like to think that Topshop were all about old school hip hop and head spinning by boom boxes when they conjured up these gold sneakers, available for £65. I L.O.V.E them which is weird for me considering they're trainers. Who'd have thunk it eh?

p.s. My cousin, looking over my shoulder whilst I did this post, just compared these trainers to the moon boots Napoleon Dynamite wears. She no longer has any feeling in her right foot. That's how much I love them.
