Get ready for winter with Moda in Pelle's 'Emma' ankle boots

If you're anything like me, I bet winter is the last thing you want to think about round about now. There's a "back to school" feeling in the air, though, and the first of next season's crop of boots are starting to find their way into the stores, so I figured it would be rude to ignore them completely, no matter how much we want to cling onto the remains of summer. Now, I know ankle boots are very last year, but there are quite a few pairs around this year, too, and I think these 'Emma' boots by Moda in Pelle are the pick of the bunch so far. They come in brown or black, and while the almond toe makes them very wearable, the button trim makes them stand out. I didn't buy any ankle boots last year, but I think I could be tempted to give these a whirl with skinny jeans or trousers. Maybe I'll wait until they're on sale for less than the £90 they cost at the moment, though...
