More Chloe-style Mary Janes - this time courtesy of Next

00020m.jpg

OK, I know these buckled Mary Janes from Next aren't exactly the same as their designer counterparts on the left of this picture (the Chloe versions have three straps, plus that fabulous metal-tipped heel), but it's not hard to see where the inspiration came from, is it? Next are slightly late to the party with this one - Ravel have already beat them to the punch with a more accurate copy, but given that Ravel is soon off to the giant shoe-store in the sky, these might be your best bet if you fancy some Chloe-style shoes for only £45. Even if you don't fancy these, I recommend taking a look at the shoe section of Next's new autumn/winter directory - it's designer-inspired shoes a go-go over there, with Roger Vivier style flats and some other familiar styles from the catwalk.

Ha, I did see those, arelya - just when you think Crocs couldn't possibly get any uglier, too!

Aja - it seems everyone is copying these shoes! I'll have to keep an eye out for the Jeffrey Campbell ones.

Ah Mary Jane's...I applaud Chloe for innovative design and achieving the glorious task of re-inventing a classic!
