Nicole Scherzinger's studded Louboutin boots at MTV TRL

Remember the studded Mary Jane Christian Louboutins in which Madonna somehow managed to do some crazy splits? Pussycat Doll - er, 'scuse me... solo artist Nicole Scherzinger, bust out some similarly studded Louboutins for her appearance on MTV TRL this week. Haven't seen these online yet, but they're definitely available (check your nearest Nordstroms and Neiman Marcus, to name a few of the stores I've sighted them at) and cost at least US$700. (Owie!) As much as I adored the studded MJs on Madonna, and as much as I like both the studded boots and Nicole, I just don't think she rocks the look. Her outfit doesn't have enough rocker pizazz to match those very sharp and spiky studs, and her ankles are positively swimming in the boots. I'd like to see another Nicole (Ritchie, that is) accessorize with those boots. Nicole Ritchie's teeny, too, but that girl knows how to dress.
