Never mind Ugly Shoe of the Week: this one is battling it out for Ugly Shoe of the Year!

Thanks to upstanding Shoewawa reader, Julia, this mockery of all that is good and shoey was quickly arrested, and its designer, Robert Clergerie, will stand trial for his crimes against shoemanity. Mr Clergerie has a right to remain silent, however, the evidence seems stacked against him: blatant misuse of houndstooth print; cruel and unusual sock-like attachments; and a "pull-on", wing-tip design. Indeed, we at Shoewawa would not be surprised if Mr Clergerie was prosecuted and found guilty for hate crimes against shoemanity: an automatic death sentence in this town!

these only look bad because we're not seeing them on feet. they would just look like shoes with socks -- try to think of them in context.

this is bad but have seen worse! anyway, for a 16 year old girl with a b/w tartan mini skirt and a white jumper could work... *rolls eyes* i could also see them in a young Gwen Stefani (maybe because her then usual checkered trousers???).

we still have some months to go - but those shoes of last week were waaaaaaay worse than these, in my opinion!!
