'So Slick' purple flats by Maloles - elastic, teeny heel and fine leather
So, when flats were, like, the thing to own, I tried my utmost to find the perfect pair but my feet didn't like any of them. My eyes loved flats, for sure (and I certainly posted enough about them on Shoewawa!) but my feet were uncomfortable in all of them. Not enough arch support, sides that were too low and prone to be stepped on, flimsy or too-stiff material that didn't properly conform and thus caused the shoes to fall off my feet completely...
Then elastic, very ballerina-like flats came along, and I thought they were the perfect solution to my fit issues! Alas, I step out of these just as easily as all the other flats, but they do fit just a tad better. These 'So-Slick' flats by Maloles are the perfect example of a potentially well-fitting flat - pliable, quality leather, elastic and a teeny bit of a heel which suggest there might be a bit of arch support. Must try on. US$288.
