What do you think of these Morigami Wool boots by Sugar at Piperlime?
As my obsession with finding boots and warm footwear for autumn and winter continues, I want to get your opinions on Sugar's Morigami Wool boots available at Piperlime. Sugar boots were particularly popular a year or two ago, but now the obsession seems to have waned slightly. They're still making quirky casual footwear though, and this pair is no exception. Ok, so they aren't the type of thing you're going to want to wear to work, but when you need to go to the supermarket and want to tuck your skinny jeans into something warm with a plaid design (in olive or brown), cap toe, side tie and warm sherpa lining, what could fit the bill better? They're US$75 - would you wear them?

mhmm not really my style. they look like being part of kitchen clothing. like those fabric things you use to take things out the oven?? (don't know the name in English...).
the whole boot looks sloppy to me: those big ties, easily deformed, very thin sole and no shape at all (and not good at all for long walks as there is no apparent arch or support for the feet). they look like slippers in the shape of boot... i'm not saying it's about being stylish 24 hours a day, and i use to wear sneakers etc, these are not sooo terrible but still there are better options in my eyes, like some comfy, shaped calf length suede boots? besides these look like Uggs and i never liked Uggs or anything soooo excessively distressed to look just like out of the bed.
