Beaded wedge party shoes from Next in pretty pink

I realise it's far too early in the year to be thinking about the Christmas party season, but Next have just issued the latest edition of their Directory, which is packed full of sparkly party dresses and equally sparkly shoes. I've been fairly impressed with Next's shoe collections lately: they've gone from making rather "sensible" work wear to producing some pretty good designer-inspired numbers, and long may it continue.

These pretty wedges are a reasonably-priced £35, and will make a glamorous addition to your eveningwear wardrobe. I love the idea of wedge party shoes - if you're going to be dancing all night, they'll be a lot easier to stand up in than strappy stilettos - and I particularly love the pink version of these, with their peep toe and tiny bow.
