Clarks launch Unstructured - air conditioned shoes for sports and comfort
I know, I know - they're not exactly pretty, are they? I show you these shoes, though, not so that you can exclaim over their looks, but because they're part of a new line by Clarks which claim to offer in-shoe air-conditioning for your feet. The line is called 'Unstructured', and it uses an air cooling system which allows the moist air inside your shoes (sorry) to be replaced by cool air from outside, via intake vents in the sole and mid-sole. It's not something those of us in the northern hemisphere will be needing this winter, for sure, but I guess the system could come into its own during the warm, summer months.
The shoes will be available from Nordstrom and The Walking Company, as well as from Clarks stores, with prices starting from $100/ One question remains, though: why are practical shoes always so ugly?
