I know that many shoe lovers are trainer haters, but running barefoot? Seriously?

bare%20feet.JPG Before I continue, I have to warn you now that I haven't got any gorgeous pairs of shoes to show you - in fact, quite the opposite. Those of you who are Daily Telegraph readers may well have already read about the apparent trend for running barefoot that has swept the US. It seems that many people find that running barefoot feels more natural, improves technique and can even cure injury problems (provided that you don't step on some glass, that is!)

So next time you're walking home after a night out in excruciatingly painful heels but are reluctant to take them off, fear not; barefoot is the way to go! Well, as long as you remember to ignore the stares of bemusement/horror that you receive from others, and of course always look where you're going!

as much as i am a trainer liker, and nature lover, am a bit of a health freak, so would not recommend this for nothing in the world!!!! not in an uncontrolled enviroment - like the streets or public places. lot of diseases could be gotten by the feet (the skin is very sensitive and permeable) and risk of harm is very high, and getting an emergency tetanus vaccin is not something i would like to do. besides, walking on little stones around... that hurts!! (was painfull in those superthin Indian flats, i don't want to think about that being barefoot!).
the only public place where i walk barefoot is on the beach. and that's because we have beautiful and superclean beaches - i wouldn't do that in dirty Barceloneta for example!
