News Flash: La Redoute sandal and sock combo looks surprisingly good!
It's strange! I know those are socks and I know those are sandals and I also know that the two are never supposed to go together but slap my thigh if they don't look perfectly suited...go figure! This could largely be in part to them being part of Lou Doillon's collection at La Redoute. Don't know who Lou Doillon is? Well let me put it this way, her mother is Jane Birkin and her father is Jacques Doillon which, along with her cooler than Kate Moss style, possibly makes her one of the chicest people on the planet. Anywho, back to the sandals. I love them and the addition of the thick grey socks for the picture only seems to add to their rustic French charm. Could I get away with wearing them? Who knows, but at £65 for these La Redoute Creation Leather Sandals, I'm just about ready to take that risk!
