Nice colour, shame about the strap on the ‘Gertrudie’ demi-wedge shoe from Moda in Pelle

I like the pewter leather and small wedges on this ‘Gertrudie’ from Moda in Pelle, but I don’t understand why they’ve got the ankle strap – it’s not as if they’re going to fall off, is it? A flatter shoe can make the leg look stumpier, as can an ankle strap, so I dread to think what these would do to my little legs. If you still fancy buying a pair then you can get them from Moda in Pelle for £45.
