Patent double strap flat pumps from Topshop

It seems that designers have gone straps mad this season. Maybe, just maybe, they've been heeding the Mary Jane fetishes of us Shoewawa girls. Okay, that's probably wishful thinking on my part.

Whatever the motivation I have been generally very excited by most of the Mary Jane inspired shoes popping up everywhere, but I'm still not sure about the flat versions. Take this pair from Topshop. The idea is all very nice, and they look quite pretty in the picture, but what if your feet are above average? Will they look disproportionate? Any girls in the know on this front, please share your wisdom. This shiny patent pair are available from Topshop for a very reasonable £28.
