Pedro Garcia does patent platforms proud with his Victoria pumps

pedro2001912867_prod_medium.jpg I know that you ladies might think this pair of shoes are by no means original, but you can't beat a design classic in my eyes. While patent is fast slipping back onto fashionable feet everywhere, it's still best done on simple black courts and this platform pair sex it up fabulously.

These Victoria platforms by Pedro Garcia include one of the things I usually hate about heels, the upturned toe, but somehow get away with it effortlessly. I've also been told by our lovely readers that this design (fault?) is a staple of Spanish shoe design, and makes for a very comfy pair of heels, so that's me told! This high-sheen pair are textbook platforms, and I adore a nice rounded toe too. Get yours from Shopbop and wear them with everything for $340.

they're not upturned. The platform just shies away from the ground as it reaches the toe so it's easier to walk in. Every platform heel does it, just some more than others. It would be nearly impossible to wear platforms without it. From looking directly at the shoe, it seems prominent, but when it's down on your foot and you've been walking, it's naked to the eye.
