Play the Shoe Stylist

_5463995.jpgWe had a great response to last week's Shoe Stylist challenge - thanks to all of the lovely readers who took part and submitted such fabulous outfits! You can see the results over at Catwalk Queen, if you haven't checked them out already.

This weekend marks the official start of Autumn, so I've decided to go for one of the season's biggest looks for this week's Shoe Stylist - patent leather booties! These ones are by Jessica Simpson, and the blue colour will hopefully give you a bit of a challenge, while the outfits you come up with will provide inspiration to us all on how to actually wear this trend! As always, read the rules before submitting your outfits, and be sure and have fun!

I believe that wearing booties under jeans or over tights has become quite tired. I wanted to explore a new way to wear the bootie, but still staying away from cankle-ville. So I stuck very skinny jeans into my booties and have been doing so ever since! I tried to bring the cobalt color in with accessories and a jacket so it works in autumn when heaters make wearing jackets indoors impossible. I am a true believer of uber-modern sleek cutting edge fashion. I tried to blend that with comfortable, wearable clothes, as you see in the image.
