Scare your feet with these BC Footwear 'Wildlife Preserve' Wedges
The first time I saw these shoes at Nordstrom, I thought someone had accidentally taken a picture of a rat and placed it on the footwear section. Then when I realised these were actually shoes I laughed and laughed for about 10 mins, went to the kitchen and made myself a sandwich, came back and then laughed a bit more. Because these are meant to be a joke right? The people at BC Footwear who created these 'Wildlife Preserve' Wedges are not actually expecting anyone to wear them? Maybe it's me. Maybe I've got too stony a heart to find a furry-esque pair of shoes complete with tail, whiskers, ears and teeth cute. Whatever I am though one thing is certain, I won't be buying these for $54.95. Anyone out there with the desire to have a pair of shoes and a pet rolled into one?

Hey! I featured these on my blog too!! I wonder why BC Footwear didn't put out a whole line of "Forest Preserve" shoes: part of me wants to see Bambi and Yogi Bear.

I work at a trendy women's shoe store in so cal. We actually carried these last season and sold a few of them at regular price before we sent them off to the internet. I can't tell you how many people had the same reaction as you did at Nordstrom. It made everyone's day to see that shoe. He was a fun one.
